My garage door would not close. I phoned Don Don Doors after 3pm and they were able to book an appointment on the SAME day between 4 and 6 pm. Ilya and Denis arrived at 5:30 and were able to tell me the problem immediately as well as options for repair. I needed a new motor as the old one was 30 years old. They got to work quickly and efficiently installing a new motor and overall service. Work and clean up was completed within 2 hours. Ilya and Denis were friendly, knowledgable, and a pleasure to deal with. I was surprised at how easy and smoothly this experience went. It is rare these days to receive such excellent service all on the same day. I will certainly call them again if needed and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or neighbours. I searched several garage door companies to repair my damaged 9’ x 7’ garage door when someone drove into it and damaged it significantly where the braces and metal support were hanging off the inside of the door. Received several quotes to replace the door and other items were added to the estimate making the replacement/repair getting expensive. Pavel Berbec provided excellent customer service, explained the process and proposal estimated what really actually needed to be replaced and provided an estimate that was right on budget. I have nothing but great the utmost respect and praise for Don Don Doors and Pavel. DON DON DOORS is amazing! We called in desperation because our carport door – which was installed in 2013 – gave a mighty crash and then would no longer open. The aged springs, cables, and wires had snapped! Our vehicle was trapped inside the carport! When we phoned Don Don Doors, they answered immediately—no ‘go to voicemail & leave a message’! We anticipated a lengthy wait for service. Yet they came immediately... on a SUNDAY, yet!! They quickly replaced the springs and wires that support the heavy carport door and in no time at all, my husband and I were 'back to normal' and 'de-stressed'. Our patio sliding glass door was so misaligned it was scraping against the tracks and it was getting to tight to close. Rollers and tracks needed to be replaced. Fast same day service, booked online and the response was quick and they were able to book me the same day. Dennis was professional, reflects that he has the experience to get the job done, provided options and suggested the best fix for long term use. Work looks solid, and the job comes with a 2 year warranty… it was a little bit pricey was able to negotiate a little but still paid CAD 711 all in, quality of parts and job done will be tested overtime… was supposed to give 4 stars because the technician forgot to adjust the door lock I had to do it myself and was late for the appointment. But overall the experience was good enough to get the sliding door working smooth… ~ JM

They came to repair a sliding garden door that had been sticking and not sliding smoothly for some time. My garage door was so noisy that you could hear it anywhere in the house when someone opened it or shut it. The tracks were misaligned and the motor was old. We decided to go with a new modern garage door motor. Pavel fixed the tracks, new rollers, new torsion spring, cables, drum rollers and hooked up our new app controlled motor. He even came back a couple weeks later to adjust a few things and tighten everything up to make sure everything was perfect and that we were happy. Probably the best contractor experience we’ve ever had with Pavel from Don Don Doors. Would 100% recommend to anyone needing a whole new system or simply a repair. 5/5 stars! ~ Nolan W

Denis and Nir both are great to work with. Denis super attentive and you get a response literally within next 15 mins and it was in the evening. What happened was our garage springs broke suddenly while we were having our dinner. Denis booked in Nir to come in the next morning. He came in to do the assessment, he replaced the old system with new shaft, spring, wire and roller with all quality parts. He then clean up very well after repair and explained how to maintain the system. From what I observed, Nir is very meticulous and he make sure things are done properly. Definitely recommend. Thank you Don for your excellent service this afternoon. From request for a quote to same day visit and work completed to satisfaction Don Don Doors did a great job. The tension spring had snapped and needed replacement. At Don’s’ suggestion I also asked for replacement of the worn out rollers to much better, quieter, and smoother polycarbonate ones. The whole process was completed within an hour with two robust guys just getting it done with expert efficiency. I had an issue where my large sliding glass door would no longer roll on the tracks, and it got to a point where I could no longer even move the door manually using force. Denis from Don Don Doors was incredibly helpful and exceeded far above my expectations. He was able to accommodate me on short notice, and was able to complete both the assessment, and sourcing parts and completing the repair all in the same day! The door I have is oversized and heavy, and the door was so old that they no longer make the wheels for my model. The options he gave were very transparent and fair, considering the amount of work he had to do to replace both the wheels and track. He even had to do some custom work to make the door fit adequately on the track, and I could not believe how much better that door now works. For being such a heavy door, it now slides effortlessly along the track. I'm very grateful that Denis was able to do such a great job on such short notice! ~ Kyle

Had a broken garage door spring on Friday, May 12. Called Denis at Don Don Doors, he was able to come on the morning of Saturday, May 13 to make the repairs. Denis was very friendly and professional and transparent about costs up front, so there were no surprises. Denis also did the repairs quickly and efficiently, and when we tested it, he noticed our garage door was pretty noisy/squeaky and so he lubed all of the hinges and joints and this definitely helped reduce the noise. I had a broken spring on Sunday morning. Tried to contact many places but no one wanted to come on Sunday. Well, surely not this company. Denis got the call from me and came to my house within 2 hours. Fixed the broken one, explained everything about the weight of the door to strength of the spring (I do have a custom garage door and could be complicated) and went extra to secure places to give extra strength. To my surprise, the door's noise level went down more than 50%. at the end, 2 year warranty was given and I do highly recommend this company and this service person (Denis). ~ Chris K

We recently replaced our 30 year old garage doors and had Don Don Doors help us select the right doors for our needs. They were super patient and helpful and they initially were willing to try to repair our aging doors but agreed that they would look and perform better if we replaced them. I'm so pleased with the result as we went with an insulated door with tinted glass and upgraded the opener that runs quiet and smooth. Don Don Doors is the only contractor that has ever given us an estimate right after seeing the job and before leaving the site. Commonly we have to wait or even chase contractors to send an estimate. Don Don Doors gave us an estimate on Thursday and job was successfully completed on early afternoon on Saturday. Sliding doors work like new. Broken 1 double garage door springs. Looking around for quotations as well as who can come ASAP. Fortunately Dennis from Don Don Doors was able to come within half an hour. He sounds knowledgeable and quoted me a very competitive price. Within an hour the springs were replaced, properly adjusted and a quick lube jobs to the hinges. We had an excellent experience with Don Don Doors when our garage door spring broke. They arrived within a few hours, and Dennis, the technician, was extremely professional and meticulous in his work. The garage door is now in much better shape than before. I had a power outage on the weekend and as a result of that and an aging door, I was left with a door that wouldn’t close. Dennis responded immediately and was at my house within an hour to provide service! I was amazed at the response and service. Dennis provided me a thorough explanation of the problem and did not pressure me in any way.
